The course provides fundamental knowledge for roles in the care and health sector, offering a practical introduction to the demands of daily professional life.

Module: Compact (30 TU)

• Key care techniques
• Fundamentals of hygiene
• Handling patients
• Basic documentation and communication methods

Module: Intensive (60 TU) – Content of the Compact course, deepened and expanded to include:

• Mobilisation
• Care documentation
• Communication in daily care
• Legal and ethical foundations
• Industry-specific terminology
• Additional practical exercises

The course takes place in person at the Technical Academy Schwäbisch Gmünd.

Who can participate? Individuals employed by companies. Private individuals can also participate if they cover the costs themselves.

Funding: The participation fee is subsidised by 45% through the Specialist Courses funding programme of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus). Funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism Baden-Württemberg with resources from the European Union.
