This course is designed for all interested individuals with basic electrical knowledge from industry, trades, or other sectors who wish to systematically deepen their electro-technical expertise. Prior knowledge equivalent to the course 'Electrical Module 1: Fundamentals of Direct Current Technology' is a prerequisite.
As almost all electrical supply networks and most motors operate with alternating current, and fast data transmissions also behave electrically like alternating current, participants in this course will develop a profound understanding of these phenomena. The instructors will clearly demonstrate how and why electronic components behave differently with alternating current compared to direct current.
- Description of Alternating Currents
- Filters and Resonant Circuits
- Resistor, Capacitor, and Inductor in AC Circuits
- Measuring with the Oscilloscope and Multimeter
- Active, Reactive, and Apparent Power
- Compensation and Resonance
- Three-Phase Current, Star and Delta Connection
- Types of Alternating Current
