The course provides fundamental knowledge of industrial production and manufacturing processes. Practical examples facilitate entry into industrial activities and strengthen practical competence in the work environment.

Module: Compact (30 teaching units)

• Industrial production processes and workflows
• Key manufacturing methods
• Safety regulations
• Industry-specific terminology

Module: Intensive (60 teaching units) – Content of the Compact course, deepened and expanded to include:

• Quality assurance
• Maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Production optimisation
• Technical interrelationships
• Extensive practical components

The course takes place in person at the Technische Akademie Schwäbisch Gmünd.

Who can participate? Individuals employed in companies. Private individuals can also participate if they cover the costs themselves.

Funding: The participation fee is subsidised by 45% through the Specialist Courses funding programme of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus). Funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism Baden-Württemberg with resources from the European Union.
