In many companies, employees possess extensive practical experience in electrical engineering, but without a formal professional qualification. At the same time, the demands on qualified electrical specialists are increasing due to automation, modern production facilities, and higher requirements for operational safety.
By preparing for the IHK external examination for industrial electricians in operational technology, the Technische Akademie Schwäbisch Gmünd offers companies the opportunity to specifically upskill experienced employees and lead them to a recognised
professional qualification. Participants acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical engineering and are optimally prepared for the external examination at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Upon successful completion, participants are recognised electrical specialists and can be responsibly deployed in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of electrical systems.
This qualification offers several benefits to companies:
Furthermore, the qualification can be supported within the framework of the funding programmes of the Employment Agency
. Depending on the prerequisites, up to 100% of the course fees
as well as up to 80% of the employment remuneration may be eligible for funding.
Participation requires relevant professional experience in the field of electrical engineering.
Final admission to the external examination is granted by the competent Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
The advanced training combines theoretical content with practical exercises and specifically prepares participants for the requirements of the IHK examination.
We are happy to advise companies and interested parties individually on participation requirements, funding opportunities, and the qualification process.
